What the license means

Minnesota licenses family child care homes through DCYF, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families. This home is licensed to care for up to 6 children, with 1 adult. The license number is at the bottom of every page, and you can look it up with the state.

A license sets rules for the home and is checked against them. It can't tell you how a day feels, which is why we ask you to come and see.

Questions about the license?

Ask Janine at the tour, or call her in the evening.
